We configure website measurement for analytics only: advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled unless this statement and the consent approach are updated. Analytics data is aggregated or pseudonymous, not literally anonymous. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. No internet or storage system is completely risk-free. We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes above and any applicable legal, accounting, dispute or record-keeping requirements, then securely delete or de-identify it where practicable.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to personal information HomeSec holds about you, or ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we do not make a requested correction, you may ask us to attach a statement of correction where the Privacy Act requires this.
